I Have The Honor...

... Of being the person who created the first piece that sold in the MCAD 2008 Art Sale.

What? What?

That's right.
My sources told me this (since I was working the dang thing, 2nd floor Furniture area, I was one of the kids in a blue shirt, I was actually wearing a black cardigan on top, couldn't miss me, I stuck out like a sore thumb... I swear. O_O)

Apparently it was this piece: nora and the octopus.

I'm so surprised this happened, I mean, it was the first item sold for Pete's sakes, either someone loved it immediately, or they scouted it out a couple days before and were determined to grab it.

I think it may be the latter considering the speed the person obtained and paid for it. And it alone.

Here's a photo my friend took of the customer and the piece I sold: right here.

I'm really hoping that anyone who purchased my stuff will contact me, maybe give me some business?

It would be highly appreciated, highly appreciated.

NOVEMBEARD.

It's November.

I'm attempting to grow my facial hair out.

I'm sure it won't be anything epic.
If it goes well, I'll put up photos.

Yah.

Oh, by the way, I have a site: ariatics

It's named after a personification I drew of the constellation/zodiac sign Aries.

infinitum.

Hrm.

Infinitum, is that even a word, in any language?

I don't care, I'll use it.
As some sort of inspirational word.

Oh, I just checked, and infinitum is a word.
In Latin.
Meaning infinity.
Makes perfect sense.

I don't know, I could possibly use this inspirational word in something I do.
I want to.

I have other inspirations right now, or things I want to be inspired by.
Such as: (* = want to be inspired by; - = want I am inspired by)
-octopi (and the ocean/sea)
*native american art
-icons (like the religious type)
-audrey kawasaki
*headdresses
-the cosmos
-the seasons
*jellyfish
*sea horses
-children's storybooks
-fashion

I have a penchant for underwater animalia, don't I?
